OrthoBionomy - 30 minutes (Follow-Up)
Working with your nervous system to bring postural alignment and calm
Service Description
When our nervous system is overwhelmed by stressors, it causes our body to hold tension and increases our awareness of pain. With Orthobionomy we work to give the vagus nerve a sense of safety, and the body a sense of relief and spaciousness. This gentle therapy uses very light compression or traction to assist the nervous system to stimulate it's self-corrective reflexes. These releases realign and re-educate the joints, muscles and nerves enabling the release of pain and tension, and gives the body the change to find its own way to better posture. Often mental and emotional tension are also reduced, creating a feeling of lightness and increased wellbeing. Because your body is doing its own work, the effects of change are often observed to continue over the follwoing 24-48 hours after treatment has been received.
